PictoFy · Privacy policy
Who is responsible
Controller: Adrián Muñoz Perera. Contact: odd.kernel.sl@gmail.com.
What we store
- A random, anonymous id for each session (created when you open the app; no account, no e-mail).
- The words you search and the pictograms you pick or discard, to order results better and to learn which word usually comes next.
- Error reports: error type, technical trace, app version and device model; no personal data.
- Anonymous usage counters (requests per platform and version).
What we use it for
Only to make the app work (ordering pictograms, suggesting the next word), to fix errors and to know how many people use each version. We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who sees it
Data is stored on our own server. We do not share it with third parties. To show pictograms, our server queries ARASAAC's public API (api.arasaac.org) with the searched word, without sending any identifier of yours. The pictograms belong to ARASAAC (Government of Aragón), licence CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. The app does not show ads.
How long we keep it
Anonymous sessions and statistics are kept until you ask us to delete them. Error reports stay in the server logs for a few weeks. Backups are overwritten in about two months.
On your device
The app keeps your settings on your device. Uninstalling the app removes them.
Your rights
You can ask for access to or deletion of your data at odd.kernel.sl@gmail.com. Because sessions are anonymous, tell us the approximate dates of use and your device model. data deletion page
Children
The app can be used with children and by augmentative communication (AAC) users; it asks for no personal data and has no ads.
Changes
If this policy changes, this page will be updated.
